Time Delay Summation

Nathanael Allison

August 24, 2017

Achieving imaging speeds of up to 20,000lines per sec. The combination of photon counting quantitative imaging and the principle of Time Delay Summation brings new levels of imaging speeds to the market.

Time delay summation (TDS) is the process of adding together multiple exposures of the same point on an object as it passes a detector. Not only does it allow for images to be taken of fast moving objects, it also enables images to be taken of objects with low X-ray dose.
