New opportunities for spectral imaging with photon counting detectors

- By Pauline Brown

As part of the recent SPIE 2017 conference, the Physics Department and Munich School of Bioengineering, Technische Universitat Munchen, presented the paper “A polychromatic adaption of the Beer-Lambert model for spectral decomposition”. The study, using one of the XCounter detectors, is opening up new opportunities for spectral imaging with photon counting detectors.
