Dr Alex Stewart Pulls Crowd with Photon Counting at ASNT 2019

- By Jacqueline Wheeler

Our Chief Mathematician, Dr Alex Stewart, spoke to a packed stand of ASNT delegates yesterday about High Resolution Photon Counting Detectors for High Energy Applications at the Innovation Forum. The level of interest at this significant annual event seems to pick up on indicators that the sector increasingly views this technology as the optimum solution for industrial applications.

Dr Stewart has over twenty years of detector development and image processing experience. He developed some of the first commercially available tomosynthesis reconstruction and has deep insight into imaging technology and detector development.
