Join Us: Electronics Engineer

Direct Conversion AB (publ) develops and manufactures next generation X-ray and gamma ray imaging devices. Our office is located in Danderyd, Sweden, but we operate worldwide. We have headquarters at Stockholm, and subsidiaries in Helsinki, London and Munich. We offer a dynamic, challenging and rewarding opportunity to work with unique state-of-the-art technology in X-ray imaging for medical and industrial applications.

Direct Conversion is part of the Varex Imaging Group, the world’s largest manufacturer of flat panel x-ray detectors.

We’re looking for a new member to expand our Electronics Hardware team.

As a member of our small but talented and highly motivated team you would be responsible for designing products to support our hardware development and sales. Our portfolio covers products including full-custom ASIC’s, FPGAs, embedded processors, high speed interfaces, analogue signal processing and power conversion.

Main Responsibilities

o   Designing PCBs for R&D, production, engineering and customers

o   Developing hardware for the above

o   Verifying electronic designs in the lab

o   Hands on problem solving

o   Working with customers to support their integration of our products

o   Working with customers on new applications to fulfil specific application requirements

o   Working with production to create automated test application to improve efficiency of the production processes

o   Defining and specifying new board designs


Our Requirements

o   Minimum 3 years of experience in the relevant field

o   Electronics design and schematic capture

o   Electronic design with FPGAs and high-speed data transfers

o   PCB layout skills

o   Experience using lab tools such as oscilloscopes, logic analyserz etc.


Experiences We Desire

o   Experience from Altium designer

o   Embedded software development

o   Medical device development under ISO13485

o   Product verification and validation under ISO 13485 and product documentation under ISO 13485 and IEC 62304

o   Knowledge or experience about embedded Linux and image or signal processing algorithms

o   Good communication skills in Swedish and English
